This uniquely simple pet food is made from wholesome lamb for true nutrition that can improve your pup’s vitality and longevity. Following the ancestrally appropriate Paleolithic diet, Hound & Gatos food focuses on wholesome meat fortified with vitamins and minerals, with no added carbohydrates or artificial preservatives. All you’ll find in each can is the nutrition your four-legged best friend needs to help him live a long and happy life.

Adult: Feed 3/4 - 1 1/4 cans per 15 lbs of body weight per day.

Puppy: Feed up to twice the Adult amount per day.

Gestation and Lactation: Feed up to 3 times the Adult amount per day.

Adjust the amount of food you serve based on the age, size, and activity level of your dog. Food should be fed at room temperature. Fresh water should be available at all times. Promptly refrigerate unused portions.

Transition Instructions

A slow transition will be the easiest. Plan for the process to take about a week. Days 1 and 2, mix 25% of the new food in with the old food. If the change is tolerated well, increase the transition to 50% new food. Continue for a few days then increase the new food to 75%, then 100% after a couple more days. Be sure to mix the “old” food with Hound & Gatos – don’t offer each food separately. If transitioning from kibble, you can just add the can as a topper to the kibble. If loose stools occur, keep the ratio of old/new food at the current ratio for a couple of days until the stools firm back up.
